Dual Interface

Dual interface and hybrid cards provide two interfaces (contact and contactless). A hybrid card has an additional contact chip implanted in a contactless card. On a dual interface card the same chip can be accessed via the contact or the contactless interface.

In cooperation with chip and prelam manufacturers, we have already been working for years to optimise the connection between the antenna and the chip module. Meanwhile, we have succeeded in developing a card where this connection is just as reliable as with a classical contactless card.

 Characteristics:

• Dual interface module is connected with the antenna already on the prelam
• Modules are not visible on the backside of the card
• All common chip types are available
